When it comes to awards season and all the hautest red carpet looks, Penélope Cruz never disappoints. At the 92nd Academy Awards in Los Angles at the Dolby Theatre, the actress oozed class and sophistication in Chanel couture as the presenter for the Best Foreign Language Film award.

Her dress was designed by creative director Virginie Viard and specially made for the Spanish actress who is also the ambassador of Chanel.

Having reworked and refitted for the Pain and Glory actress on the evening before the Oscars, the gown had all the hallmarks of a Chanel classic. The structured bodice of Penélope’s gown highlighted her slender frame, with a waist drop waist billowing into layers of satin and tulle.
