Yesterday was a huge night for fashion! The Met Gala returned in celebration of the new Costume Institute exhibit with the theme ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’.  After a year-long hiatus due to the pandemic, the star-studded event saw celebs and influential figures paying homage to the country’s iconic figures as well as taking the opportunity to make extravagant style statements. 

As one of the world’s biggest fashion parties, the Gala has seen rise to some of the most iconic, high-fashion red-carpet looks we’ve seen yet – yes, we’re looking at you, Rihanna. Coming out of a pandemic, this year’s event feels much sweeter and way more exciting. Did the fashion crowd deliver though? You be the judge.
