Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya
For the second season, Tommy Hilfiger teamed up with Hollywood starlet Zendaya for another runway show to remember. Last season it was a disco in Paris, and last night the collection hit the streets of Harlem as another celebration of diversity and empowerment. Taking inspiration of New York’s uptown ladies of the ’70s, the design duo put a modern touch on velvet suiting with tie-neck blouses, snakeskin trench dress, and lurex jumpsuits—all the while celebrating women of all color, size and age. Not only was the front row star-studded, former Tommy collaborator Gigi Hadid was present with sister Bella, but so was the runway, Winnie Harlow, Precious Lee, Halima, Candice Swanepoel all strutted their stuff to a soundtrack that kept the audience dancing in their seats.—Chrissy Rutherford
