Brandon Maxwell’s runway is always a party, he does show on Saturday night, after all. The Maxwell lady this season is all about clean ‘70s prep with a sultry side. There were ballgowns and jumpsuits and re-imaginings of a tennis shirt—but make it fashion. He has a gentleman now too (the brand debuted menswear) who looks as though he’ll join her at the chicest country club mixer the world has ever seen.
