The Dior Book Tote was first introduced by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Spring/Summer 2018. Since then, the bag has seen numerous, irresistible interpretations – from the iconic Dior Oblique and Toile de Jouy prints to various limited edition designs – and has also included two new sizes (small and mini) into the family, all while achieving cult status in the process. One can’t deny the allure of the Dior Book Tote. With its structured and versatile silhouette, the practical bag offers a stylish solution for the everyday. For Pre-Fall 2021, the Dior Book Tote is reimagined in bold leopard print.

One of Pre-Fall 2021’s key trends, the leopard print’s audacious personality takes centre stage at Dior, splashed across the season’s ready-to-wear pieces and key accessories. The print coined “Mizza”, is inspired by a design from the House’s archive and pays homage to Christian Dior’s muse, the elegant Mizza Bricard, who wore the exquisite pattern extensively. Marrying modern technology with artisanal know-how, the “Mizza” embroidered Dior Book Tote embodies the House’s Savoir-Faire excellence. Despite its simple and functional silhouette, the extraordinary art of Savoir-Faire is reflected in the details and makings of the bag; requiring a million machine stitches and 36 hours of work to create the desired outcome.
