An astounding collection that continues to reveal the elemental magic of light in various expressions.
After unveiling the first chapter of The Alchemist of Light high jewellery collection in January, De Beers continues to showcase its natural and elemental magic of light through the second chapter.
“The Alchemist of Light High Jewellery collection represents the most creatively and technically ambitious collection we have ever conceived and crafted. It incorporates exceptional diamonds in white and fancy colours, including some specially selected from our Natural Works of Art collection. Our design studio, collaborating with our specialist craftspeople, has created individual pieces that are truly wearable works of art," says Céline Assimon, CEO of De Beers Jewellers.
The new chapter revealed sets of stunning and diverse Dusk Reflection, Ascending Shadows, Midnight Aura, Optical Wonder, and Frozen Capture that interpret light in mesmerizing ways. Comprising a total of 45 one-of-a-kind pieces, the new set is juxtaposed with Atomique, a creative interpretation of diamonds at the molecular level, and Light Rays, which capture the moment sunlight radiates in the morning sky.
Ascending Shadows
Modern and magnificent.
The Ascending Shadows set consists of seven spectacular pieces with prestigious shapes and striking shadows. Edged in white marquise-shaped diamonds and green roughs, the focus of the sweeping necklace is an exquisite 3.41-carat fancy light grey pear-shaped diamond.
The large hoop earrings fan out with the duality blue aluminium and titanium showcasing two central 1.01carat white pear-shaped diamonds. In the same colour scheme, the dramatic drop earrings feature two fans folding out from 2.10-carat fancy dark grey emerald-cut diamonds. Alternatively, in intense rose and light green aluminium, each ring with a plethora of white marquise-shaped and intense pink round brilliant diamonds set in light grey titanium, set with rare fancy coloured diamonds at their centers.
