The journey to the finish line never looked better
Officially the timekeeper for Olympic Games Paris 2024, Omega has recently launched a brand new timepiece that will stand the test of time. In celebration of its golden era, the Swiss watchmaker crafted a special edition watch in honour of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad — The Seamaster Diver 300M “Paris 2024”. The release of this new timepiece will mark Omega’s 31st anniversary of being the official timekeeper for the Olympic Games.
With just a year away from the historic event, the countdown for the games never looked better with Omega’s newest golden touch. The new 42mm timepiece will only be available in Omega boutiques in Paris. Crafted with stainless steel and 18k Moonshine Gold — Omega’s very own yellow gold alloy — the watch is a stunning piece that can elevate any outfit. With its subtle hue and high resistance to fading, your arm candy will be glistening until the end of time.
Here’s everything you need to know about Omega’s Olympic Games Paris 2024 timepiece:
Shining bright like a diamond, the timepiece adorned a beautiful gold essence that paid tribute to the coveted medals that every athlete strives for. Impressively, the gold used for the medals has been used for the watch’s bezel, making it more alluring. The bezel also features a laser-structured diving scale in positive relief and a single dot of SuperLumiNova at 12 o’clock. On top of that, the watch is also decorated with a matte finish and polished wave, turning it into a watch that will turn heads everywhere you go.
The best part? Omega has cleverly used the Paris 2023 typography to inscribe the numbers at the date displayed in black, while the central second’s hand carries a small yet visible Paris 2024 emblem. This new addition is a great distinction between the originals and the newest reiteration.
The caseback has an inlaid 18k Moonshine Gold medallion that features the Paris 2024 emblem, another new stunning addition to the watch. This is perfectly complemented by the stamped words “Paris 2024″ and the iconic Olympic Rings in stainless steel, which are polished on a frosted structure, to complete the Paris 2024 emblem.
The watch is also decorated with a stainless steel bracelet with Omega’s new patented Quick Change System, meaning the wearer can easily switch it for something more personal or something that can suit their identity and style. From a Quick Change rubber strap in either blue, white or red to a dedicated Paris 2024 NATO Strap, the personalisation has no end.
