Twenty~4 Automatic

Patek Philippe, 7300_1200A_001

The Twenty~4 Automatic is the first model of the collection featuring a self-winding mechanical movement in a round case.

Twenty~4 Automatic, An Elegant Design

Expressing an elegant harmony in design, it refashions the rectangular case of the original Twenty~4 into a completely new round 36 mm case, now defined by prominent yet subtle contours complemented by a sapphire-crystal glass, slightly domed to further accentuate the sculpted profile of the case.

A bevelled, diamond-set bezel circles the case, with an elaborate construction at 12 and 6 o’clock that seamlessly blends into the design of the exclusive bracelet with its gently cambered central links framed by delicate two-tier outer links to offer a supple fit that gently and comfortably hugs the wrist. A new patented fold-over clasp (Patent EP3162241B1) complements the bracelet.

The dial is left uncluttered and refined, characterised by Arabic numerals in gold and baton hands with rounded ends and luminous coatings. The slightly domed sapphire-crystal glass underscores the sculpted profile of the case.

The beating heart of the Twenty~4 Automatic is the caliber 324 S C,  a self-winding movement with a Spiromax® balance spring in Silinvar® that can be viewed through a sapphire-crystal case back.

Five versions of the Twenty~4 Automatic are available, two in steel with diamond-set bezels, two in rose gold with diamond-set bezels, and one in rose gold with diamonds set in the bezel, the bracelet, and the crown. The “Dentelle” (lacework style) gem-setting technique produces two-row configurations of offset precious stones that highlight their radiance. Much like the many parts of the watch, all diamonds—immaculately cut flawless Top Wesselton grade—comply with the directives of the Patek Philippe Seal, set to the most exacting jewellers’ standards.

The stainless models offer two dial colours: sunburst blue (Ref. 7300/1200A-001) or sunburst grey, delicately graduated from the centre (Ref. 7300/1200A-010). The dials of the rose-gold models also offer two dial options: a sunburst chocolate brown and gradated dial (Ref. 7300/1200R-001) or a silvery grey dial graced with an exclusive double horizontal and vertical satin finish reminiscent of Shantung silk (Ref. 7300/1200R-010). The Ref. 7300/1201R-001 is a “dressier” watch, lavishly adorned with 469 diamonds for a total of about 1.88 ct, including the crown, the lugs, and the outer links of the bracelet.
