Formed in 1999, MERCY Malaysia (Malaysian Medical Relief Society) is a non-profit organisation that provides humanitarian assistance and programmes across 32 countries. This year, there are two campaigns to note: Ramadan for Syria and Ramadan Relief 2023.

The Ramadan for Syria campaign supports MERCY Malaysia to fund the operation of a bread factory in Qurqanya, Idlib, in order to provide bread to families. As for the Ramadan Relief, the campaign provides the neccessities to those in need during the Holy month.

Islamic Relief Malaysia

Participate in The Rezeki Ramadan campaign, where you will contribute to those in need by supplying essential food to their countries. This includes the basics like rice, flour, corn, pasta, grains, beans, canned meat, cooking oil, sugar, tea and dates. In 2022, Islamic Relief distributed 302, 919 food packs to 33 countries. This year, they aim to raise a target of RM2.5 million. You can choose between the RM350 food pack and the RM250 food pack to contribute. However, you can offer a Sadaqah as low as RM10 too.
