THE LOCATION
I recently travelled to Algarve in Portugal for the first time with my husband Eugenio and two sons Otto and Augusto. Algarve is known for its colourful marine life, and this was the inspiration for the prints I developed.
THE COLOURS
The bright hues of blue, orange, and green on my design were taken from azulejos, traditional hand-painted Portugese tiles.
ONE THING TO BRING ON EVERY JOURNEY
A camera! One of my rules of thumb is to pack light. However, I always make a point to bring along my camera to document every step of my vacation, even when I’m relaxing by the beach.
