Are The Spice Girls Set To Announce A Reunion Tour?

The Spice Girls have been the subject of reunion rumours for several months and now, it seems there is further evidence to suggest an upcoming tour.

According to Digital Spy, the ’90s pop group are scheduled to make an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show tomorrow – the perfect opportunity to tease a 2019 reunion, no?

The girl band have reportedly filmed a group video message which will play before the show airs whereby they announce a UK stadium tour.

But fans will be disheartened to learn that Victoria Beckham is not expected to join her former bandmates on the chat show.

Though that hasn’t stopped Mel B trying to persuade the designer to take part in the rumoured reunion, as she dressed up as Posh Spice for Halloween. In a not-so-subtle gesture, the singer even held a placard which read: “No I am not going on tour”.

Her hair stylist Gary Madatyan dressed as David Beckham for the event with a second sign to hand, which said: “Please, please, please do it for the Spice fans”.

But it seems Victoria might slowly be coming round to the idea, as she supported Mel C at a charity event in London last night.

The 44-year-old shared a photograph of the two of them on her Instagram account with the telling caption: “So proud of @melaniecmusic – fantastic performance tonight! x #friendshipneverends #girlpower kisses VB.”

The last time the British girl group sang together was at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony and if the rumoured tour goes ahead, it will be the first time they’ve hit the road together in over a decade.
