Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child via surrogate on Monday, TMZ reports. According to the site, the couple welcomed a healthy baby girl weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces. There’s no news on the baby’s name yet.
Kim announced the good news on her website, in a blog post titled “She’s here!” The reality star wrote:

Kim and Kanye, who wed in May 2014, welcomed their first child, North, in June 2013. Their second child, Saint, was born in December 2015.

Fans have been following the famous couple’s journey with surrogacy since the news first broke last June. Kardashian had opened up about suffering from placenta accreta in a previous pregnancy, and revealed that doctors told her it would be unsafe to get pregnant naturally again. Hence, the surrogate option made sense. According to TMZ, the Kardashian-Wests hired a woman through an agency for $45,000.
Rumors spread for months, but the Kardashian-Jenner clan kept quiet on the subject. It wasn’t until September that Kim confirmed she’s having another baby, in a Keeping Up With the Kardashians trailer. In November, she accidentally spilled to Ellen DeGeneres that the child is a girl.

Kim celebrated baby number three with an extravagant baby shower in November. The soirée was filled with cherry blossom decorations and her A-list friends, but the surrogate was not invited because Kardashian hadn’t explained it to her kids yet, she explained. However, she and the surrogate have “the best relationship,” Kim added.
Kim and Kanye’s new baby is also the latest member of Kardashian-Jenner tribe. Khloé Kardashian’s first child may soon follow in April, though she hasn’t confirmed her due date yet. Kylie Jenner is also rumored to be welcoming her child as early as February.
