As a wonderful introduction to brunch enthusiasts, Apollo Dining has developed its first brunch menu, which is available from 11 AM to 2.30 PM. With signatures such as Fried Chicken Percik Burger to Pomodoro Pasta with Cheese, there’s definitely something for every palate.

Here’s everything we ordered from Apollo Dining’s memorable brunch menu in KL.

Starters and Appetisers

We began our culinary journey with delicious buttery bread accompanied by Ajwa Kurma Butter, which made for a perfect spread. Next, we tried the Lentils Salad, a refreshing yet zesty dish made with beautiful tomatoes, feta cheese, oyster mushrooms, mint, and pomegranate. In our opinion, it was a great starter to devour before our main courses.

The American Scallops and Taro made for an excellent appetizer and a highlight of our evening. The scallops were perfectly seared and served with taro fritter, caviar, cherry tomato, radish, and citric juniper hollandaisse. The dish offered a light yet juicy crunch with every bite, and we enjoyed dipping the scallop in the citric juniper hollandaisse sauce.

The main course

For the main course, we highly recommend the Pomodoro Pasta with Cheese Croquette, especially if you love pasta. The cheese croquette was infused with pears, which added a sweet element to the crunch. The dish was a classic spin on any tomato-based pasta and was cooked to perfection.

Perfect for sharing, we suggest ordering the Thai Laksa Crab pasta from their daily menu too. A hearty twist to a traditional squid ink spaghetti, the dish was rich in flavours with its laksa crab meat sauce, fried kangkung and topped with tempura soft shell crab. Not only was it bursting with flavours, but the dish went hand-in-hand with each other perfectly.

To end our evening on a sweet note, we couldn’t resist indulging in a classic brunch staple: toast. Only this time, it’s with a Malaysian twist – served with Kaya Creme. The Kaya French Toast easily made it onto our favourite brunch dish to have. Toasted in brioche bread, the meal was topped with grilled caramelised pears to balance out the sweetness of the kaya creme and Salted Dulce De Leche. It’s a perfect hearty yet wholesome dish to have for those with a sweet tooth, but we suggest sharing plates so you can try a little bit of everything.
