A centre of culture, entertainment, and shopping, the Taksim Square and its surroundings are home to a plethora of cinemas, theatres, stores, art workshops, art galleries, bars, and cafes. The Taksim Square and the Republic Monument host ceremonies on national holidays and serve as a meeting place for those wanting to spend time on İstiklal Street.

At the heart of Taksim Square is the Republic Monument, a stunning work of art that pays homage to Turkey’s founding father, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Located at the heart of city, Galataport is a new major waterfront development project covering a length of 1.2 kilometres of coastline on the Bosphorus. With breathtaking views of the surrounding sea, it’s one of the best places to enjoy a coffee while admiring the beautiful views. We enjoyed a lovely traditional Turkish dinner at Kiva Restaurant. Inspired by the deep-rooted food culture of Anatolia, Kiva offers a blend of traditional and modern flavours that showcase the region’s diverse culinary traditions.

Galataport İstanbul features numerous local and international brands that offer a wide selection of Turkish and world cuisines.

Apart from that, Galataport İstanbul houses the finest works of modern art in Türkiye with the İstanbul Museum of Modern Art and Mimar Sinan University İstanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture, both of which are located inside its premise

Boutiques at Galataport Post Office Fashion Galleria

One of the oldest structures in the port area, the Post Office Fashion Galleria is one of the finest in the city with its characteristic slate dome and roof, unique spaces, and facades. The building is now being restored to embellish the city once again as an iconic symbol.

Since 1895, Atelier Rebul has been a pioneering figure in the world of skincare and fragrance. The brand boasts a pharmaceutical heritage that spans 125 years and prides itself on combining the finest natural ingredients with the latest scientific formulas.

The brand’s story begins with Jean Cesar Reboul, a young French pharmacist who was captivated by the allure of Istanbul during a visit in 1895. Reboul opened one of Turkey’s first pharmacies, the Grande Pharmacie Parisienne, on Rue de Pera in Beyoglu, which quickly grew in prestige and reputation.

In 1939, Mr. Reboul returned to France, leaving the pharmacy in the capable hands of his protégé and business partner, Kemal. Kemal changed the name to Rebul Pharmacy as a tribute to his mentor, and the brand has been creating specialized products and formulas in its own laboratory ever since.

Our favourite range from the collection is Istanbul and Pera.

Sevan Bıçakçı

Sevan Bıçakçı grew up in what you could call one of the classic workshops of the Grand Bazaar. His curiosity and energy knew no bounds, leading to many adventures and formative experiences. And every day, he heard the sounds from the streets he walked.

He expanded his imagination by staring at the domes of the Hagia Sophia. The magnificence, the rich history, the culture of Anatolia, the Eastern Roman and the Ottoman Empire are the greatest sources of inspiration for his jewellery. But what makes his pieces unique is not only the stories from which they’re inspired, but also the craftsmanship he has entrusted to his master craftsmen, the collaborations he’s made with artists, sculptors, glassworkers, or ceramic masters outside the jewellery world, and the curiosity to turn precious stones into even more precious pieces.

Zorlu Center

With its mix of brands, Zorlu Shopping Mall provides an exclusive shopping experience. Leading fashion brands such as Burberry, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Rolex, Saint Laurent, Sevan Bıçakçı, Valentino and many more are available there. Zorlu Center also stands out with its gourmet concept. It offers popular restaurants such as Eataly, Cantinery, Günaydın, Morini, Parle, Zanzibar, Zula and Welldone to name a few.

Located in the bustling Eminönü district near the Galata Bridge, the Spice Bazaar is a culinary and aromatic paradise.

While the Spice Bazaar is smaller than the Grand Bazaar, it is no less appealing. Its centuries-old vaulted ceilings, richly decorated stalls, and tangle of fragrances make it an enchanting destination. It’s hard to resist the natural soaps, colourful spices, and unique teas that are on offer.
