Jennifer Lopez savored her SNL hosting gig by reflecting on the amazing year she’s had.
From being proposed to by a Yankee to having huge success with movie Hustlers to turning 50, 2019 has given us so many unforgettable J.Lo moments. And lest we forget Lopez walking the runway for Versace in Milan wearing a re-creation of the green leaf-print gown she originally wore at the Grammy Awards in 2000.
While Lopez started her monologue wearing a tuxedo, she had a special surprise underneath. Paying tribute to the return of one of her most iconic looks, J.Lo ripped off her tux at the end of a performance of “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” to reveal the stunning Versace dress she made famous. Needless to say, she looked perfect.
Having already danced with the Rockettes at the start of the show, you’d think Lopez’s night couldn’t get any better, but the star appeared in a plethora of SNL sketches throughout the night. In “Chad and J.Lo,” Lopez developed a crush on one of her stage hands, played by Pete Davidson. Having confessed that she was into him, Lopez and Davidson were then interrupted by J.Lo’s real life beau, Alex Rodriguez. Watch the sketch in full now:
