Make this your pre-warm up for Oktoberfest and spend your weekend with 100 over craft beers from countries such as Denmark, and unusual suspects—Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia, accompanied by beer-inspired food pairings. For an authentic Oktoberfest experience, a trip to Penang is a must. This year, the Malaysian-German Society is specially flying in Bavarian band Bayernmän for the night’s entertainment and original German draught beers like Löwenbräu and Erdinger.

There will also be beer drinking and arm wrestling competitions for adults, as well as game stalls for children at the kids’ corner. Admission is free for children below the age of 16 whereas tickets for adults are priced at RM35 (for non-members). Get your tickets here.
