Sarah Pidgeon’s breakout role was when she played Leah Rilke in the Prime Video series “The Wilds”

She may have begun her journey in a survivalist series called “The Wilds”, but she continued to make a name for herself by starring in the Hulu series “Tiny Beautiful Things”. Ultimately, this led her to star in her first Broadway role in David Adjmi’s play “Stereophonic” in 2024—earning her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play. Taken from ELLE, Sarah Pidgeon confessed that she almost failed her musical theatre exam due to the fact that she didn’t study for a particular scene.

She has always known that acting was her passion.

From her interview with Marie Claire, we discovered that acting has always been in her blood. Ever since a young age, she was spotted acting in Detroit-area community theatre productions like ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Willy Wonka’. The rising star paved her way to stardom by enrolling in a summer performing arts camp before transferring schools to attend the prestigious Michigan school, and then attending Carnegie Mellon University for her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.

She’s a regular at Anton’s Wine and Bar Cafe in New York City.

She’s originally a brunette.

Pidgeon dyed her brunette hair to embody the role of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. “I didn’t have any real hesitation in changing it. Not that hair colour necessarily alters your personality, but it felt much easier to become her,” Pigeon confessed in an interview with Marie Claire.
