All the new cafes in KL to explore throughout July 2025:
Ben’s Brew Buddies
Coffee and pastries, what could go wrong? Nestled in Mont Kiara, Ben’s Brew Buddies is the ideal hideout spot for unwinding over delicious coffees. If you’re craving some peace surrounded by lush greenery, this is worth checking out if you’re in the neighbourhood.
Address: 10-G-3, Cafeteria Kiaramas Cendana Condominium, Kiaramas Cendana Condominium, Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur
You can check out the operating hours on their Instagram here.
Sourdou.M
If you can’t get enough of sourdough, here’s where you can feed your obsession even further. At Sourdou.M, the cafe showcases its home-baked goods, ranging from focaccia to cardamom knots and more. While their bread and pastries may be the star of the show, their hearty mains are worth trying out, too. We recommend ordering their Wagyu burger. While you’re there, don’t forget to order their latte and piccolo, which make an excellent sip-worthy companion to your meals.
Address: 12A-1, Jalan PJU 1/3d, Sunwaymas Commercial Centre, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Operating hours: 9AM – 4PM (closed on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays)
Bru Cafe & Bar
Here’s another cafe worth mentioning if you happen to be at Taman Yulek, Cheras. Bru Cafe & Bar sets the bar high with their series of fusion sips. Whether you’re into coffee, tea or cocoa, there’s something for every adventurous palate. We recommend the Sunset Drive, infused with Kelantan single-origin cocoa, black tea, pink peppercorn, and berries. Another is the Deep Matcha — a blend of Uji Matcha with milk, rhubarb syrup, elderflower, and soda. If you love experimenting with unique flavours, this is the place to be.
Address: No. 128, Blok P/A, Jln Kaskas, Taman Cheras, 56100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
Operating hours: 12PM – 9PM (Monday – Wednesday) | 10AM – 12AM (Friday-Sunday)
Buttersome
Look out for the duck mascot clutching onto a stick of butter, and you’re set for a journey filled with scrumptious baked goods. Located in Section 17, this bakehouse cafe includes everything you’ll need, from scones to cookies and cakes to tarts. Enjoy the experience with their delicious brews and you’ll be good to go.
Address: 37, Jalan 17/45, Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya.
Operating hours: 9AM – 6PM (closed on Wednesdays)
ScrappyDough
ScrappyDough elevates the flavours of your go-to bagels with an Asian twist. Yes, we’re talking about Kam Heong Chicken Bagels to Mala Bagels. Rich in flavours with a tinge of spice, their baked treats are a definite must-try if you dare. However, their menu goes beyond the unconventional flavours with classic favourites like Cherry Tomatoes on Tartines and the delicious joy of enjoying focaccia. With a location that’s bound to be a conversation starter with its raw, industrial aesthetics, you should definitely add this spot to your weekend adventures.
Address: 139, Jln Sungai Besi, Sungai Besi, 57100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
