new documentary about Meghan Markle airs on British TV tonight, and reveals several things about the Suits star we didn’t previously know. Aptly titled When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Romance, the documentary highlights Markle’s acting abilities alongside her work as a humanitarian. And of course, it focuses on the royal engagement we’re all waiting for.

Here are just some of the facts we learned about Markle:

1. PRINCE HARRY HAD A CRUSH ON MARKLE BEFORE MEETING HER.

According to the documentary, Prince Harry was interested in Meghan Markle for two years before they actually met. Royal commentator Katie Nicholl noted that Harry allegedly told friends that Markle was his “ideal woman.” Apparently, a close friend of Nicholl asked the Prince, “Harry, who’s your ideal girl?” and he replied, “Meghan Markle from Suits.”

2. A MUTUAL FRIEND SET THEM UP.

Markus Anderson, a mutual friend of both Meghan and Harry, set the pair up. The first meeting was at Dean Street’s Soho House.

According to royal commentator Nicholl, Meghan “was funny, feisty, confident, and she wasn’t swayed or knocked by the fact that he was Prince Harry. She thought he was terribly cute.”

3. MARKLE HAS BRITISH ROOTS.

Meghan grew up in Los Angeles, but in the documentary, a historian traced the star’s family back to Yorkshire in England. Meghan’s great great grandmother, Martha Sykes, was apparently born in Yorkshire, and moved to America when she was just one.

4. THE QUEEN IS A FAN OF THE RELATIONSHIP.

According to royal correspondent Nicholl, the Queen is positively “delighted” about Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan. She continued, “If Prince Harry is happy with Meghan, there is really no concerns on the Queen’s side.”

5. MEGHAN’S DIVORCE IS NOT A PROBLEM.

Royal commentator Nicholl said of Meghan, “This is a woman of the world, she has the experience,” noting that having gone through a divorce will help prepare her for life in the spotlight as a royal.

Royal correspondent Robert Jobson agreed and said, “A number of photographers that have dealt with have said they find her charming… Maybe the royal family can learn some lessons from her.” As Harry’s father, Prince Charles, married Camilla Parker Bowles, following both of their own divorces, it seems unlikely that Meghan’s divorce would be an obstacle.

6. MARKLE IS A HUMANITARIAN.

Markle is an ambassador for Canada’s World Vision Clean Water campaign, and gave a speech before UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in 2015.

Of Markle’s work, Nicholl said, “She has this genuine passion to help other people. She really is a humanitarian at heart, that’s what she wants to do,” which would make her the perfect person to become a member of the royal family someday.

7. MARKLE REFUSED TO DO “GRATUITOUS” SCENES ON ‘SUITS’.

Meghan revealed at the One You World Summit in 2016 that she was no longer prepared to do scantily clad and semi-naked scenes involving Rachel Zane, the character she’s played in Suits since Season 1.

Markle revealed, “I’m not doing it anymore… I called the creator and said ‘It’s just gratuitous.'”

There is clearly so much more we don’t know about Meghan Markle, but it’s obvious that her relationship with Prince Harry is only one facet of her life.
