Perched atop a cliff amid calm blue waters of Pangkor Laut Resort’s Emerald Bay beach, Malaysia’s first granddaughter is an image of a modern-day warrior princess. “I’m really feeling this super-extra braid,” she says of her hair extension, which our hair stylist added to match her Dior Cruise ’20 African wax toile de Jouy ensemble. Indeed, it takes a specific character to pull off such a combo, but the Imperial College Business School masters graduate is no stranger to shaking up a classic look with her own youthful twist. Case in point: when she confessed to “stealing” her mother’s Jacquemus Le Chiquito bag, and then pairing it with her own Louis Vuitton Archlight sneakers, and ice hockey souvenir shirt.
