Is there anything Kate Moss can’t do?
The British supermodel recently debuted her talent for interior design with a luxury home project in Cotswolds, U.K. In a collaboration with the design company YOO, Moss revamped a five-bedroom barn house with an outdoor pool in an acre of land in the English countryside.
“I’m branching out,” Moss told The Sunday Times. After having designed for brands like Topshop and Longchamp in the past, the model is no stranger to collaborations. Luckily, this one involved people she knew and trusted, like YOO founder John Hitchcox, a good friend, and Katie Grove of Grove interiors, a close advisor to Moss.
“There was a relationship already, rather than some stranger coming up and saying, ‘Do you want to do interiors?’ I wouldn’t have done that,” 41-year-old Moss said in the interview.
The model-turned-designer calls the house’s end result “eclectic,” and rightfully so. There’s the glam master bedroom is all-white, accented with pink pillows and a mirrored canopy bed. Meanwhile the living room is rich in warm colors, with olive and dark teal velvet sofas handpicked by the model. “There’s the 1970s, there’s 1920s, there’s 1960s – the best bits of everything,” she added.
There are even a few photographs of Moss scattered about the house, in case buyers forget who designed their future home. “The Barnhouse with interiors by Kate Moss” is currently listed for $3.8 million.
