Yes, you read that right. Apple TV+’s period-drama ‘The Buccaneers’ is all set to return for its third season. After eight episodes of heartbreaks, love triangles, jealousy and spectacle from season two, your favourite rebels are taking over your screens once again.
Based on the unfinished final novel of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton, this lavish period drama, produced by The Forge, has captivated audiences with its modern twist on Victorian elegance and social dynamics.

While the first season introduced us to a joyful troop of young American women who navigate the restrained atmosphere of 1870s London, season two dived deeper into themes of motherhood, love, heartbreaks and cultural clashes. With the plot of season three up in the air for now, we can definitely foresee the growth from our Buccaneers as they transition from their first innocent romances to seeking true love.

As we anticipate the next chapter in this beautifully coming-of-age drama, all eyes will be on The Duke of Tintagel, Theo (played by Guy Remmers) and Lizzy (Aubri Ibrag). Apple TV+ shared an emotional teaser on social media. The announcement clip shows Theo and Lizzy gazing into each other’s eyes before kissing and running away together, hand in hand. The caption states: “Tintagel is abuzz. The Buccs will be back.”
