The beach: Cala Tuent

Mallorca is the biggest island in the Balearics and has the stretches of coastline to match. One of the best beaches is Cala Tuent, on the north-west coast, which is reached by a coachload-averting winding road and surrounded by pine forests. The secluded cove is also overlooked by a small chapel.
