Van Cleef & Arpels Unveils A Secret Garden With The Precious Nature Exhibition in Singapore

Van Cleef & Arpels opened the gate to poetry, nature and beauty with their latest spectacle

Throughout history, Van Cleef & Arpels have always established themselves with a blend of inventiveness and poetry. Today, it is no different. Opening a new chapter in their unparalleled narrative, the French Maison has unlocked the gates to their timeless universe of beauty and harmony with an intimate exhibition showcasing exceptional and enchanting gems.

Peppered with exquisite idiosyncrasies that have been layered with the complexity and richness of the French Maison’s heritage, the Les Jardins Secrets by Van Cleef & Arpels exhibition takes clear inspiration from nature. Given Singapore’s reputation as a breeding ground for flora and fauna — the Garden City of Asia — it’s no surprise that the Van Cleef & Arpels’ latest spectacle depicts a scenography that highlights floral and nature-inspired textures, silhouettes and graphics.

Staged at the Van Cleef & Arpels boutique at Raffles Hotel Singapore, the exhibition acts as a portal into the personal connection forged between the Maison and nature, where the high jewellery pieces of the Precious Nature collection detail the creative history, savoir-faire and innovation of the jeweller.

By highlighting their Precious Nature collection, the Maison spotlighted their ability to be timeless, vital and poetic since 1906. Representing the past, present and future, the exhibition will display 15 pieces from the Maison’s patrimonial collection, archival documents and exceptional loans from private collectors. At the heart of the exhibitions lies a garden where daisies bloom in engraved gold, poppies flower in Mystery Set rubies and Christmas roses sculpted in wood.

Since the exhibition is woven together with the boutique, spectators will have the luxury to explore symbolic collections such as the Alhambra and Perlée creations — to dive more into the Maison’s universe of refinement, excellence and craftsmanship. Weaving together with that, the exhibition was well-thought in that it also opens a gateway to discover the Maison’s patrimonial pieces and the Lécole, School of Jewelry Arts’ exhibition.

Showcasing the artistic brilliance of works, the exhibition generates a gradual transition from one jewel to another, creating a dialogue between all the protagonists of the exhibition and ultimately, offering them a deeper appreciation of the integrity and beauty of all the creations.

The exhibition will run now until 16 June 2024. Book a visit now here.
