- Timothée Chalamet attended the U.K. premiere of Netflix’s The King in a sequined black Louis Vuitton hoodie today.
- The actor is no stranger to glittery pieces, after he famously wore an embellished harness to the Oscars this year.
- His co-star and rumored girlfriend Lily Rose Depp was also in attendance, wearing an elegant black and white gown from Chanel’s new Spring 2020 collection.
If anybody can pull off a sequined Louis Vuitton hoodie on the red carpet, it’s Timothée Chalamet. The 23-year-old indie darling and budding style icon has a penchant for taking—and nailing—fashion risks (that Haider Ackermann suit, anyone?), and today’s bejeweled sweatshirt is no exception.
Chalamet and his glittery get-up attended the U.K. premiere of The King, the upcoming Netflix drama starring the actor as a young Henry V. Clearly, the hero of his outfit was the shimmery top, so he kept the rest of the ensemble simple with black slacks and leather lace-up boots.
The Call Me By Your Name star has not shied away from sparkly attire in the past. For the 2018 Academy Awards, the actor wore an embellished Vuitton “harness” with a black shirt and pants, sending the Internet into a collective thirst-fest. Chalamet later clarified that he thought the buzzed-about accessory was a bib, and he didn’t intend to evoke any BDSM references (“I didn’t do it for that reason,” he said on Ellen).

At today’s King premiere, Chalamet was accompanied by his co-stars, including rumored girlfriend Lily Rose Depp, who wore a black and white Chanel gown days after it debuted on the runway in Paris.
We stan a well-dressed couple.
