The duo behind Malaysian-born skincare brand, By Eggs, is a force to be reckoned with. “Within the beauty industry, we have created a brand that not only has its own creative identity, but also suits and helps local skin concerns,” the best friends say. The idea to create an organic skincare brand stemmed from the duo’s dreams to make skincare fun again, and since their launch in 2017, the brand has continued to churn out over 16 food-inspired skincare products. When asked what their biggest eye-opener was since they first lauched, “Product-savvy consumers!”, said Michelle, “With wider exposure to ingredients and products on social media, consumers are more demanding with their beauty choices.” The two London School of Economics graduates have been friends since children, and both started their own separate careers before joining forces to start By Eggs 2 years ago. “We look up to each other. We have different strengths and perspectives,” they say, “and we always look up to one another for a boost of inspiration.”
