What’s this year’s theme?
This year’s theme will be “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” which coincides with the opening of The Costume Institute’s new spring exhibition of the same name. The exhibition will be on view at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from 5 May to 16 July.
The exhibition will pay tribute to Lagerfeld’s unparalleled contributions to the fashion realm.
What’s the dress code?
Stars and celebrities are expected to don ensembles paying homage to Karl Lagerfeld. Expect to see a lot of Chanel, Fendi, Balmain, Chloé, and Patou – all are luxury fashion houses that Lagerfeld has been associated with.
