Kate Moss’ Daughter Lands Her First Campaign

Kate Moss’s 14-year-old daughter has landed her first modeling campaign. Lila Grace Hack stars in an ad for The Braid Bar, a UK beauty brand. She makes her debut wearing braces with her best friend, Stella Jones (daughter of The Clash’s Mick Jones), at her side.

Being the face of a brand is a big modeling milestone for Hack, but the Braid Bar has previously been accused of “lacking cultural sensitivity” and has come under fire in the past for appropriating hairstyles popularized by black women, such as cornrows and box braids, on white models. Even though the company publicly apologized in March and promised to be more inclusive, Hack wears cornrows in this ad.

Though this may be Hack’s first advertisement, it’s not exactly her first modeling gig. She landed her first magazine cover last year alongside her mom. The teen also interviewed Gigi Hadid for her Dazed cover story last fall. (Hack’s father is co-founder of Dazed Media, Jefferson Hack.)

Hack is currently the same age her mother was when she was discovered and she’s reportedly signed to Moss’s modeling agency.
