Known for its scantily clad and sometimes provocative underwear ads, Calvin Klein is debuting a new kind of sexy for Spring 2017.
The brand’s newest women’s underwear campaign celebrates women of all ages (with models ranging from 18 to 73) shot from a female perspective. To do so, Calvin Klein tapped Sofia Coppola to cast, direct and photograph the ads.
Featuring a star-studded lineup, the cast includes Rashida Jones, Kirsten Dunst, Laura Harrier, Nathalie Love, Maya Hawke (the daughter of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman) and Chase Sui Wonder (the niece of Anna Sui). The most striking though? 73-year-old Lauren Hutton, whose age group typically gets overlooked in the world of underwear models. Along with an image of Hutton wearing a sheer bra and an unbuttoned blouse, the supermodel appears in a separate video sharing a personal story, when a surprising pickup line worked on her in the past:
Also starring in the ads is longtime Coppola muse and collaborator, Kirsten Dunst. The actress poses in a black bra for the campaign ahead of her next project with Coppola, The Beguiled.
The series of black-and-white photos and videos debut Calvin Klein’s new underwear tagline, “Calvin Klein, or nothing at all.”
