We have come to the end of an exciting season, with Max Verstappen of Red Bull winning the Formula One championship.
You know his name – three-time F1 World Champion Max Verstappen races to victory during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023.
Verstappen dominated once again, securing an impressive 19th win out of 22 races this season. His teammate Perez initially grabbed second place by overtaking Leclerc on the penultimate lap, but unfortunately, his five-second penalty for a collision with McLaren’s Lando Norris dropped him to fourth place.
Earning a spot on the podium alongside Verstappen are Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in P2 and Mercedes George Russell in third place.

Verstappen expressed his excitement on the win, “An incredible season. I was a little emotional on the in-lap – it is the last time I am sitting in the car, which has given me a lot. I am proud to win the last race. It was an incredible year. It will be hard to do something similar again.”
As the action-packed season has come to an end, we look forward to the next season in 2024, kicking off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on 29 February 2024.
