Her Marilyn moment
Madonna turned up to the 1991 Oscars after-party on the arm of Michael Jackson, with Marilyn Monroe-inspired blonde curls, red lips, dark eyebrows and diamonds around her neck. She had previously worn the same dress and fur stole, chanelling the look of the 1940s icon, on the cover of the Vanity Fair earlier that year.
