Burberry's A/W '23 collection pays homage to its British heritage.
For Burberry's A/W '23 collection, Daniel Lee presented a new Burberry aesthetic that paid tribute to the brand’s rich legacy. Inspired by all things British, Lee’s rendition of Burberry saw strong regal colours and playful motifs including roses, swans and ducks. Fluid silhouettes were reimagined with rich materials and fabrics and bold new codes that heralded a change in the brand’s identity. The Equestrian Knight Design (EKD) for starters, was given a refreshing makeover complete with a brand new hue dubbed knight blue, while checks were transformed diagonally to give a modern perspective on the heritage motif. At the heart of the collection, practicality and freedom of movement informed its course, rooted in heritage and modern-day sensibilities.
