Dance Like No One’s Watching

Salvatore Ferragamo’s Capsule Shoe Collection is an Invitation to Dance.

With so much going on in the world right now, our desire to break out of the norm is more evident along with our yearning for freedom. And what better way to overcome these challenges than with energy, enthusiasm and movement? In line with this train of thought, Salvatore Ferragamo unveils a new capsule shoe collection for women aptly titled “Let’s Dance”.

Dancing means fighting against everything that holds us back, everything that brings us down (…), it means using our bodies to discover the very essence and spirit of life; it means making physical contact with freedom — Jean-Louis Barrault, actor and director.

The capsule collection consists of a myriad of designs and styles that combine lightness and comfort to suit the modern woman. Available in beautiful colours of sunshine yellow, black, and lipstick red to name a few, the styles include ballet flats, chunky-heeled pumps, lightweight lace-ups crafted from nappa leather, sandals  and more. Micro-rhinestone detail and glitter highlight the everlasting and whimsical appeal of the collection.

In addition, a short film accompanies the launch of Salvatore Ferragamo’s Let’s Dance collection. Directed by celebrated American film director, Danielle Lessovitz, the film depicts a symbolic dialogue between dance and the collection. Light and full of vigour, three contemporary dancers (Anita Lorusso, Naomi Weijand and Tania Dimbelolo) present an expressive and passionate performance while wearing shoes from the Let’s Dance collection. Finally a dance challenge will be available on the brand’s new TikTok channel. To join the challenge and for a chance to be featured on the brand’s TikTok and Instagram accounts, simply follow the tutorials by the three dancers, film and post your rendition of the dance.
