This Lunar New Year, the world of horology puts art on our wrists with beautiful Year of the Rabbit watches that pay tribute to the Chinese zodiac's luckiest creature.
Portugieser Automatic 40 Edition “Chinese New Year”, IWC Schaffhausen
Unlike the other timepieces here, this Year of the Rabbit watch from IWC Schaffhausen depicts the adorable bunny on its back, not on its dial. In fact, the rabbit forms the gold-plated oscillating weight of the watch’s IWC-manufactured 82200 calibre. At the front, a 40 mm stainless steel case guards a rich burgundy dial, complete with gold-plated hands and appliques. This automatic watch is limited to 500 pieces. Additionally, the watch comes with two calfskin straps: one in black, the other with a burgundy colour gradation.
