“Colours have a very prominent role within the way I design my collection. Often I start off with the colours before designing new silhouettes. I always try to challenge myself and play with finding an equal balance of uber feminine and clean androgynous, trying to balance bold expressive colours versus soft hues. I really enjoyed the colour process for our spring/summer 2020 collection which was inspired by gardens, using earth coluors tones in combination with flowery hues. It features some of my favourite colour mixes to date, such as the Rose Quartz Mix on the Elza Sandal or Croco Evergreen on the Georgia Bag. Each bag and shoe style has its own sense of femininity inspired by their energy and personality. During the current global situation, I started with painting. I’m using this time at home to keep staying creative by experimenting with new techniques and deep diving in colours. I’m not a Picasso, but I have a lot of fun with it.”
