“I love Korean food and although it’s something I usually enjoy with my family, being at home is giving me the opportunity to create my own dishes and cooking helps me relax. Korean dishes are comforting and usually very inexpensive, just make sure you stock up on soy sauce as it’s the base for everything. Top tips… don’t be scared by all the ingredients, many of them are used in other Asian dishes, but it’s the way they are combined that makes Korean food so special. So make sure you follow your recipe carefully and feel free to amend the level of spice to suit you, as many are hot!
“Also, use all your leftovers, Bibimbap for example is a pretty simple dish, consisting of rice topped with vegetables, meat and sauce, so you can make sure you’re not wasting anything in your fridge.”
