“There is a lot of uncertainty at the moment, but my team and I are continuing to work on our spring/summer 2021 collection from home. In many ways it feels like starting from scratch again thinking about the ways we can do things creatively with so much closed down and so few resources.

“I have a domestic sewing machine which sits on my kitchen table and I am working on fabric samples, experimenting with textiles in a way I have not done in since I was at university. When I clock off work at around 6pm, I’m hoping to spend the next few evenings fixing a bag of damaged clothes I’ve had for over a year and never had the time to fix. I find hand sewing very relaxing, there are lots of tutorials online if you don’t know how to sew, but even bad hand sewing looks good to me. I might even have a go at embroidering… I have some old embroidery threads and thought it would be nice to try out some flowers on an old T-shirt. I’m not great at embroidering, but I enjoy seeing how much better I get the more I do.”
