The Swedish car company has marked a new chapter in its electrification journey with its newest car.
Volvo Car Malaysia has pulled the covers off of their new electric-only SUV – the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric – and there’s plenty to look at. Following its predecessor, the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric, the luxurious car company has marked a new chapter in its electrification journey with its newest car. The Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric has brought the automobile brand one step closer to its global vision of having a fully electric line-up by 2030 and becoming a climate-neutral company by 2040.

The Electric SUV
Glancing at the car for the first time will not reveal the vehicle’s dynamicity, yet its sultry, sharp, and lean build shows off the car’s prowess. The Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric reaffirms its polished and powerful electric powertrain when it springs to life. Made with an output of 408hp and 660Nm of torque, the car proves that both play and work meld effortlessly well together with this electric SUV. Plus, it can cover a range of over 450 km on a single charge, while also featuring the ability to charge up to 80 per cent in 28 minutes – making it the best machine to cruise down the highway.
Available in five colours – Crystal White, Black Stone, Silver Dawn, Sage Green and Fjord Blue – the car features a striking, bold face that appeals to both the younger and older demographic.
