What is the plot about for Queen Charlotte?
The prequel focuses on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power. Furthermore, the series will grasp the viewer’s attention as we look closely at the young Queen’s marriage to King George. As a classic arranged marriage-to-lovers trope, we will see the Queen embark on a life-changing experience into love, marriage and a societal shift. This will eventually lead to a more significant change in the Bridgerton world we currently see today.
Who is in the cast of Queen Charlotte?
Newcomer India Amarteifio takes the leading role as young Queen Charlotte, while Corey Mylchreest plays the young King George. Eventually, we will see Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte) and Adjoa Andoh (Lady Agatha Danbury), and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton) reprise their respective roles in this series too. Another notable actress to watch is Arsema Thomas, who plays young Lady Agatha Danbury.
