Not content with taking over our wardrobes, influencer-loved label Nanushka is moving into the world of lifestyle, kicking off with an extremely covetable ceramics collection. The fashion brand has teamed up with Noha Studio on a ceramic line called Nanoha – and we want it all.
The idea – which started out as a hobby on the side for Nanushka’s creative director, Sandra Sandor – is for the ceramics line to be an organic extension of the fashion brand through the colour palette and the texture, which hopes to portray the informal beauty and the feminine versatility of Nanushka.
The collection has been created using the ancient Japanese technique Raku, which will ensure that no two pieces will be the same. It is made up of decorative vases and bowls, as well as several different types of coffee cup, for everything from a Cortado to a Flat White and a Matcha Latte.
“The magic of ceramic art lies within the symbolic power to create, by showing how a natural material slowly turns into something unique and the final form stays a mystery until the very last moment,” Sandor said.
Just like Nanushka’s clothing collections, the ceramics line is on the affordable end of the designer scale with prices ranging from £35 for an espresso cup to £160 for a large vase.
The Nanoha collection will be available to shop online at Nanushka and from the Nanushka café in Budapest from the 18 March.
