Welcome back, Euphoria.
Euphoria is returning to your screen and creator Sam Levinson unveiled that the teen drama is slated to premiere in April 2026. While it’s been years since the premiere of Season 2, and we feel you if you’ve forgotten the plot. The show ended with Rue’s severe drug relapse and her relationship with a dangerous drug dealer named Laurie, who eventually owed her a great deal of money. Not forgetting the insane tension between Nate, Cassie and Maddy’s love triangle. With Fezco and Ashtray’s tragic shootout, along with Lexi’s production that reimagines and critiques the lives of her friends and family. The season concluded with an epic cliffhanger.

Now, what would Season 3 entail since it’s been a long time coming for these characters? According to Entertainment Weekly, the series taps into a significant time jump for the beloved characters. We’ll see Rue (played by Zendaya) at the southern border in Mexico, still in debt to drug dealer Laurie. Staying true to the absolute diabolical of a drama, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) have stayed together since high school ended and are currently engaged.
Quoted from Entertainment Weekly, Levinson revealed, “Cassie is living in the suburbs with Nate, they’re engaged, and she’s very addicted to social media and envious of what appears to be the big lives that all of her high school classmates are living at this point in time,” Levinson said. “I will say that Cassie and Nate do, in fact, get married. I’m confirming it. And I promise that it will be an unforgettable night.”
That’s not all. Hunter Schafer’s character, Jules, will take us on her journey through art school and into her next step as a painter. As for everyone’s favourite character, Maddy (played by Alexa Demie), it’s been unveiled that Maddy will be working in Hollywood at a talent agency while Lexy (Maude Apatow) pursues her dream in the film industry as an assistant to a showrunner, played by Sharon Stone.

Who will be returning and making their debut in Euphoria Season 3?
Apart from the main characters, Eric Dane, Colman Domingo, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike and Nika King are set to return to their roles. However, we’re thrilled to see newcomers like Rosalía, Gideon Adlon, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Marshawn Lynch and Sam Trammell pave the way for the next season.
Labrinth makes an epic return to the series with Hans Zimmer joining on board.
Labrinth sets the tone for the series and produced unforgettable scores like “Still Don’t Know My Name”, “Forever”, “Formula” and “When I R.I.P.” This upcoming season, he’ll be working alongside Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer—who produced scores like “Interstellar,” “The Lion King,” and “Inception”—to bring the magic into the new season.
In an Instagram post, Zimmer expressed his excitement. “It’s an honour to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson. Together, they have crafted such a bold and moving series that has meant so much to audiences. Labrinth’s music has shaped the show’s identity and I’m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.”
Labrinth shared in a separate statement: “Another chapter in the Euphoria universe! So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season. Love x.”
