Katie Zimmerman, the Chief Merchandising Officer of Blue Nile, which is the largest online retailer of certified diamonds and fine jewelry, tells BAZAAR.com, “Emma’s beautiful engagement ring is on trend with what we’re expecting in 2020. The vintage setting has a sunken floral designed halo with pave accents.”
Who What Wear spoke to fourth-generation gemologist and founder of The Clear Cut, Olivia Landau, about Stone’s “antique-style” engagement ring. Per Landau, “antique diamonds like old mine cuts and old European cuts have become extremely popular.” The gemologist continued, “What people love about antique diamonds are that no two are the same, they have a very charming faceting pattern and sparkle.”
PopSugar described Stone’s ring as featuring a “large, round-cut, pearlescent-looking stone.” It’s currently unclear if Stone’s ring is antique or created in a classic style. Either way, it’s simply jaw-dropping, and we can’t wait to get a closer look at it.
