Arriving at Pangkor Laut Resort in a clash of athleisure and utilitarian, Sanaa is best described as Sporty Spice, and everything nice. But don’t let that fool you, as the recently migrated fitness enthusiast transforms into a seductive siren for our shoot, giving Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik a run for her money. Showing off her curves in a haltered one-piece in the morning sun, the Moroccan beauty’s confidence is proof of her own perspective to life and style. “Your own worst enemy is yourself, so why care about what others think of you?” the 28-year-old laments, before adding “c’est la simplicité qui fait beauté,” (which translates to “beauty is simplicity” in French). It’s evident of her irreverent approach to fashion, as well. To that effect, who else would turn up at a power breakfast in a midriff-baring sports bra and track pants, if not for Sanaa herself?
