Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed a little prince in London this morning, and his siblings, four-year-old Prince George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte, greeted the newborn at the hospital. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now have three little ones under the age of five at home, so it’s safe to assume Kensington Palace is about to get a lot busier. Ahead, what we know about the three royal kiddos.

After eleven hours of labor, Kate and William welcomed their firstborn, His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, at 4:24 PM on July 22, 2013 at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in West London. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces.
The Duke of Cambridge, who was present for the birth of his first son, told reporters, “We could not be happier” on the day of George’s birth. George became third in line to the British throne, after his grandfather, Prince Charles, and his father.
Now a four-year-old savage meme king, Prince George is reportedly a little ball of energy (as most four-year-olds are, royalty aside).

On Saturday, May 2, 2015, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed a daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, at the Lindo Wing. William was present at Charlotte’s birth, and the newborn weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces. The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth at 8:34 that morning and the couple returned home to Kensington Palace with their little princess that evening.
Charlotte is now the middle child between two brothers, and after the passage of the Succession of the Crown Act in 2015, she became the first female royal to retain her spot as fourth in line for the throne.
The fun-loving two-year-old will celebrate her third birthday next week.

At 11:01 AM London time (around 6:01 a.m. EST) on Monday, April 23, Kensington Palace sent out the royal announcement we’ve all been waiting for: the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the much-anticipated royal baby. With the big announcement came the gender reveal, as the palace reported Kate was “safely delivered of a son.” The newborn weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and Prince William was present for the birth. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the hospital that evening.
The couple has yet to inform the public of the name chosen for the newborn, but we do know his official royal title will be, “His Royal Highness Prince (name) of Cambridge.” The “of Cambridge” inclusion comes by virtue of the fact that Kate and William are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, so their children’s monikers follow suit, per George and Charlotte’s full names: His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge and Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge.
Prior to the arrival of Princess Charlotte, the Queen issued a decree to ensure all of Kate and William’s children would be given Prince or Princess titles, according to BAZAAR UK: “All the children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales should have and enjoy the style, title, and attribute of royal highness with the titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their Christian names or with such other titles of honor.” Had the decree not passed, only George would have the title Prince, while Charlotte and the new baby would have been Lady and Lord, respectively. The newborn is the fifth in line for the throne, bumping his uncle Prince Harry to sixth.
