“I started collecting vintage clothing when I was young, but back then I was a little more experimental,” confesses Lee Ming, whose sartorial choices run the gamut of ’50s pin-up stars to ’60s icons. “After a while, I realised that classic silhouettes work best for me, and these days I prefer pencil skirts over miniskirts.” Needless to say, Lee Ming’s own confidence has grown over the years, as evident in her convincing portrayal here of Eva Green in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’s Ava Lord. “Playing this character made me feel really strong, sexy, and empowered—elements that I believe should be every woman’s secret weapon.”
