Although what you read on a page is significantly better that what you see on screen, there’s nothing more exciting than seeing your favourite books come to life—the art of your imagination being acted out in 1080p with beautiful mise en scene. Bookworms will undoubtedly express that some films do not do a book justice with its fast-paced storytelling, terrible casting and pieces of texts that did not show up on screen. But, there are films that has done wonders for a book. Think Normal People by Sally Rooney—a book to series adaptation that was emotionally moving and done superbly. With that in the gears, the melding of books and cinema has become officially a trend now and we’re brimmed with excitement.

Goings beyond romance, this book tells the story of how someone rebuilds their life after a heartbreak. We can’t wait to see more details. But, we think this is going to be the best on yet, because Emily Henry is writing the script herself. Do you want another surprise? The Housemaid

Off-Campus Series

To fulfill this, Jeremy Crawfor, Verity’s husband, requests for Lowen to live at the Crawford home to sort through years of notes and outlines to find materials to get her writing smoothly and with ease. However, once there, she comes across an unfinished autobiography that reveals secrets that could hurt the Crawford’s family.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

Navigating love, life and loss, Morgan unexpectedly learns that there are secrets she never knew about that could make or break her. But, when Jonah comes into the picture, things become much clearer for her.
Meet Me At The Lake
