The season of celebration is here and for 2021 Nespresso celebrates with not one, not two, but three limited edition coffee to further enrich your festive experience.
Following their homage to the tropics mid this year, Nespresso’s Festive collection—aptly called the “Gifts of the Forest” collection—draws inspiration from the very forests where Nespresso coffee is grown in. For almost two decades now, Nespresso has been focused on protecting nature through agroforestry projects to protect the ecosystems its coffee farms rely on. So to dedicate the Festive collection to the verdant beauty of nature makes perfect sense, for forest conservation has always played a vital role in Nespresso’s sustainability vision, which is to create a cup of coffee that has a positive impact on the world—right from the coffee cherry to the cup.
FESTIVE COFFEE IN FASHIONABLE MOTIFS
To best illustrate this homage to the forest, Nespresso has invited Colombian luxury fashion designer Johanna Ortiz to design the sleeves of this special limited edition “Gifts of the Forest” collection. “For me, design and nature go hand in hand which is why this collaboration resonated personally,” Ortiz shares. “Colombian coffee also has a truly special place in my heart and as an active supporter in the fight against climate change, knowing that Nespresso is going beyond its agroforestry commitments by supporting the protection of 10 million trees in the Amazon, it was another huge reason why this collaboration made perfect sense. When designing the collection, I took the idea of capturing the beauty of the forest throughout every piece, by incorporating rich forest canopies and dark earthy tones within my designs. It’s been an amazing process and partnership which I have deeply enjoyed.”

From forest fruits to luscious canopies of trees, Ortiz’s festive motifs beautifully capture this year’s Festive coffee range that includes two flavoured coffees and one black coffee. Our celebration comes alive with the Forest Fruit Flavour as it entices with juicy berry aromas running through this season’s flavoured espresso. On the other hand, the Forest Almond Flavour delights with almond notes marked by vanilla and a light fruitiness tucked into this espresso’s South American Arabicas. Then we have the Forest Black, its beans sheltered under a canopy of trees to deliver a spicy espresso punctuated by exotic woody notes.
And what better way to get lost in the richness of Nespresso than with some delicious “Gifts of the Forest” coffee recipes? Specially crafted to enhance your enjoyment of coffee by capturing a taste of the forest in each sip, these recipes will delight and surprise your guests as they explore the depths of the new “Gifts of the Forest” coffee.

Nespresso’s Forest Variations coffee range will be available for purchase from 1 November 2021 onwards. The Nespresso Forest Variations is priced at RM27 per sleeve. Shoppers can get gift pouch, gift card and machine wraps service in the Nespresso boutiques.
The Nespresso Notebook, Nespresso x Johanna Ortiz Limited Edition Tote Bag and TOUCH Golden Travel Mug are available as gifts with purchase only while the NOMAD travel mug is priced at RM149. The limited-edition items will be available at a later date.
