An air of magic envelops the world as we come closer to the last days of the year. Streets and retail boutiques turn ever more lively with a symphony of lights and colours that follow our every step as we ready ourselves to end the year on a very bright note. The Pleats Please Issey Miyake Autumn/Winter ’22 collection joins in the festive spirit by revealing a joyous print in a selection of breezy separates to keep you celebrating in style.

Named the Enchant print, this colourful motif plays out like an explosion of confetti, designed to inspire imagination, as beautifully—and might we add, whimsically—illustrated by the Pleats Please Issey Miyake digital campaign for Enchant.
The campaign comprises three animated stop-motion videos that make use of the limitless potential of claymation to reflect the versatility of the Enchant print in a most fantastical way. The first video depicts an orange-hued skier navigating the slopes created by the undulating fabric of an Enchant cardigan, before she flies into the air and makes a solid landing to rapturous applause. The next video sees an astronaut that appears to float in space, the Enchant print forming a blanket of celestial bodies in the background. Then in the third video, the sporadic motifs of the Enchant print become the backdrop to a climbing wall, its playful splatter of colours echoing the grips that form magically out of thin air as a wall climber ascends her way to the top to stand triumphantly on the shoulder of the Enchant cardigan.
