First introduced in 2010, the Rado Centrix watch is now softer and more sensuous than before. A welcome development, this new model now comes in an irresistible 39.5 mm or a dainty 30.5 mm. Needless to say, the watch continues to exemplify Rado‘s expertise when it comes to marrying high-tech ceramic with understated elegance.
A MORE REFINED LOOK
Its newly refined silhouette is marked by gently rounded contours inspired by the whispers of desert dunes. Manifesting the allure of the desert, the Rado Centrix is aesthetically smooth and feminine. Embodying the very aura that actress Tong Bing Yu exudes.
Pleasing to the touch, the sapphire crystal of the new Rado Centrix watch appears slightly spherical. It’s a new element that sees its rounded-edge now bonded flush with its case, offering a clear view of the sunray dial.
Another redesign introduces a new geometry for its case back, now with fewer markings. Here, the crystal allows a peek into the inner workings of the watch. Also, its power reserve runs up to 48 hours and 80 hours, depending on the size of the watch.

More importantly, the Rado Centrix performs as beautifully as it looks. The quartz versions of the watch include computer-chip technology that automatically detects and responds to sudden movement or shock. This ensures exceptional accuracy, unaffected by changes in temperature or moisture.
A HARMONY OF DESIGN
Even a cursory glance affirms the visual harmony of the watch, resulting from an elegant design that whispers its beauty. Thus, the smooth contours of the Rado Centrix continue from case to lugs and bracelet. Another new addition, the bracelet is secured with a triple-fold stainless-steel buckle in place of its former closure.
As for variety, apart from its size, the Rado Centrix is available in stainless steel, polished rose-gold-coloured or yellow-gold-coloured PVD coated stainless steel case. Additionally, depending on the model, dials are in black lacquered, black facetted, brown sunray, or silver or brown facetted and lacquered with a 3D effect. The dial is further adorned with sparkling diamonds that function as hour markers, for a measure of glamour.
