“I thought that I would have endless time to work on creative projects that I have always wanted to do whilst in self isolation, but what with home schooling, cooking, work Zoom calls and keeping up to date with my teams, I haven’t had much time. I am hoping that as time goes by and the entire family finds its new rhythm and routine, I will have more time for drawing. We did manage to do one family art class at the weekend, I used oil crayons and recycled brown paper to draw flowers from my garden. I like that it was quick, rough and imperfect on an old ratty piece of paper. You don’t need fancy art materials to be creative, make do with what you have to hand.”
